Hello, I'm Rossana Godfrey, the founder of Happy Kitty NYC LLC. Since our establishment in 2017, my journey in the pet care industry has been a labor of love. As a devoted animal enthusiast, I embarked on this venture to offer more than just a service - I wanted to provide a feeling of home away from home for your beloved pets.

With a deep-rooted passion for animals and a commitment to their well-being, our pet sitting services are designed to give you the peace of mind you deserve. From daily walks to personalized care, we strive to create a nurturing environment that mirrors the love and attention your pets are used to receiving from you.

Services & Rates
We offer a variety of services, please inquire if you require a service that is not listed below. We will make an effort to cater to your pets particular needs.

We will have an initial phone conversation to learn about your fur baby needs.
​
We then have an evaluation meeting at your residence. We'd like to meet you and your four legged family members to discus all services, special needs, care and answer any questions that you may have. We want to gather all of the information and instructions necessary to be able to proivde your loved one(s) with the care and devotion that they deserve. You will also be provided with a Client Agreement to go over and sign.

You will then receive a follow up E-mail detailing the total payment along with payment options.
​
Prior to your scheduled departure, your assigned sitter will show up to pick up the keys. After your first experience with us you will have the option to leave your keys on file for future visits. If you choose not to leave keys on file with us then there is a $10 key pick up charge to reimburse the sitter for their time and travel expenses.

At the conclusion of every visit you will receive an E-mail with photographs of cleaned litter boxes, your fur baby(s) while they eat and play. We bring toys with us to entertain your babies, or we will use yours if they are provided. We want you to have peace of mind that your fur baby(s) are in good hands.

On the final visit your sitter will leave the keys in a spot designated by you. We would appreciate to hear from you once you return to know that you and your kitty(s) have been happily reunited.

For the times that you're away from home your kitty will be well cared for. Our visits include:

Cleaning of food and water bowls

Happy playtime

Feeding, including treats (if you allow)

Scoop litter box

Brushing hair if your kitty allows it

Mail and newspaper collection

Multiple visits per day can be arranged. Additional fees include:

Administering of any medication (other than injections) + $10

Every additional kitty that will be in our care +$5

Our team is also more than happy to take care of pets such as;

We will check the enclosures keeping an eye out for open doors, temperature extremes (for turtles and fish) as well as to adjust toys or furniture that may have toppled. We'll add fresh water and food as well as provide snacks if you allow.

If you will be away for several days we will clean the enclosures including change the bedding and dispose of it outside of your home. Please feel free to provide us special instructions and we will do our best to accommodate your request(s).

Your four legged family member will stay at my (Rossana's) apartment in the upper east side. Mine is a cage-free home offering companionship and safety. A stress free, relaxing environment with just your pet and myself. No children or other pets to disrupt their zen.

I only accept pets from one owner at
a time. No other pets will be in the
area other than yours.
​
Dogs must be vaccinated; Rabies and DAHPP (distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and parvovirus).
